HOW DID I DO?

 Both my husband and I got home late from work and it was bill paying nite, so we decided to order chinese food. I ordered a small chicken with garlic sauce, that had pieces of chicken breast, black beans, onions and mushrooms. I ate about 1/2 Cup, mostly chicken. I also ate about 1/4 of a crab rangoon-mainly the inside and the soft part of the fried. 
Good choices? I know the crab rangoon was probably not the best, but I only ate enough to taste it. I have missed eating so bad these last 3 weeks with my stricture and all. If I could have made some better choice that you know of, please let mer know. Thanks!

Sounds like good choices to me.You could call ahead and ask them if they could make yours with no MSG.I love chinese vegetable soup.It is just a delicious broth with veggies.I have one place I can ask to make a whole batch without MSG and take the whole batch, It is even good cold the next day.You are doing fantastic with your weight loss,how much protein do you get in a day?

I get between 60-80 gms a day of protein. I am very cognizant of eating protein. I start my day with a protein shake that gives me 20 gms. I also have one late afternoon that is 23 gms. The rest comes from meals. Thanks for the complement! I weighed this morning--DOWN 50 LBS! YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAW!

Your dinner sounds yummy.  We had oriental too.  We dine out once a month with three other couples "Dining Duos".    All day I was looking forward to the Bonsai where the food is cooked on a grill  in front of us.   Dinner and a show!  My husband let me choose and shared .  The chicken tasted good but was overcooked.  I've been eating chicken for weeks  so didn't expect to have problems.  Since it was dry, I ate very little of the chicken.  The salad and  fried rice went to my husband and I had the soup with a few of the grilled vegetables.  I felt fine when we left but on the way home my  DH had to pull over.  I thought that was the end of it but as soon as I walked in the door I had to make a beeline to the bathroom and reject the rest.  The chicken was fighting back!
