They did an ultrasound and CT scan and both came back normal. Im also getting like a wave of heat across my chest and back. Its just really weird that nothing is showing up anywhere.

There's something .... I think it's a HIDA scan? that can determine if you have GB issues when ultrasound and CT scan come back normal... ask abouit it.

Also, you can have an ulcer in your remnant stomach, but unable to see it.

Funny you should say that cause thats exactly what the dr said to me. She said she cannot see my original stomach so whatever is going on there she would not be able to find it. The thought of never having this pain diagnosed is driving me crazy.

If I am having pain that might be an ulcer... I treat it as if it is an ulcer. My PCP and I are in agreement that it is cheaper to treat the pain as an ulcer, than to try to diagnose it. If the pain continues unabated after a week of treatment, then our "guess" is wrong.

I'm probably going to have to ask for some ulcer meds next time I see the doc (in 10 days or so).

Ok so my pain is starting to return with a vengeance. Is it because the numbing medication used during todays procedure has worn off?
