It is reLly getting real!

I went Thursday morning for my final preop meeting with the hospital and anesthesia, and later that day got the call that insurance approved me. I start a 3day clear liquid diet Monday, surgery on Thursday at 10:15. Im trying to clean the house, pack my bag, pack for my son to go to gramma and grampa's for a few days, and make sure all my loose ends are tied up at work.
Looks like it is finally going to happen, and I am so excited.

Thanks to everyone here for all the posts.I usually lurk and I've learned so much from all of you.It has been such a blessing to read posts on every topic I could imagine.... and then some! I'm sure I'll have a few surprises, and things I need to learn by doing, but I feel I have prepared myself to the best of my abilities, I have a tremendously skilled surgeon with amazing support staff, and my wonderful husband and family to help support me along my way.

As they say...I'll see you on the loosers bench!

I am so excited for you!  I am tetativele scheduled for August 20th, waiting for insuance approval now.  I am on pins & needles waiting, I can't wait til I'm in your shoes!  Good luck!!!

 My surgery is the same day!!!  We'll have to keep each other up to day on how we are doing.  Best of luck!!!!!

It's hard to believe it's all finally going to happen, isn't it? Mine is on August 21st and my pre-op meetings are this week. I'm excited right there with you!
