I've hit a wall...

It's been almost a week of my liquid diet, and I really just want a grilled chicken breast. Or some cheese.
I've been doing well so far, and down 5lbs. since last Tuesday. I'm getting all of my fluids, shakes and SF jello or Popsicles. I'm allowed either a garden salad or Healthy Choice soup, too. But, I just want something to sit in my stomach longer. I know it won't be so much of an issue post-op, but it's just there--nagging me. LOL

I'm on day 5 of the liquid diet. On the second day (advice from a friend) I called my doctor and asked if I could have a chicken breast. Was told I could have one 4 oz chicken breast or one frozen meal (lean cuisine, weigh****chers, etc) under 300 cal. a day. It has helped a lot. Hang in there, we can do this!

Debbie

Thanks!
I was told to stick with my plan...ugh. LOL
It's not bad when I'm out and about, just when I'm home and thinking about it. It's tough because my husband and 17-month old daughter are eating. I've never wanted to swipe a graham cracker so bad in my life.

Oh yeah, we can do this. :) And, I'm with you on the cucumbers/non-sweet stuff. I've never wanted to pour a pound of salt on a salad as much as I want to now. LOL
