I'm getting...
excited for surgery next week! Weird! For the past month, I've just been feeling like, "Let's get this over with--I'm ready." (in that flat, unexcited tone)
But it just hit me that now that I've got almost one week of my liquid diet under my belt, it's just one more wee****il I'm being wheeled into surgery.

All becoming real now, huh? :D It's an exciting time!
I went through the same thing--months of blase, "Yeah, let's just get it done". And then the week before, I turned ito an anxious little puddle. :)

Yay! I got excited about a week beforehand too. I can still remember being in a bead store in Boston with my mom and getting the call from the surgeon's office to confirm all of the information for the day of the procedure. I thought "Wow, it's really happening!"

LOL.....I just posted the same thing except mine is on Wed of this week and all of a sudden the excitement turned in to a case of nerves. My Sister is getting her's 5 day's after me so she is slotted for Monday, looks like we are all back to back. Hope you have a wonderful problem free surgery and a speedy recovery.
