Not nervous?

My surgery is Wednesday and I am not at all nervous about the procedure.  I am just nervous about my family falling apart while I'm away!  I'm a typical mother of 6 kids who feels like I have to put everyone first before me and scheduling all this around their needs has not been very easy.  And, there are still things that I feel guilty for missing out on (soccer games, pre-k parent meeting) and I feel like I am abandoning my husband to take care of everything on his own. 

But, I know those things are only a blip in the big picture and this IS the big picture for me!!  So, I am still going through with it.  There will never be a good time, so now is as good as it gets!
