Can someone tell me if I need to be fasting or not? I don't think so but wanted to be sure. I need to do it today or tomorrow since my appt is 2 weeks away. Thanks so much! Sherry

I didn't have to fast for mine. The lab sheet should say if you need to fast.

i also had to fast before my bloodwork. You may want to check with your Dr's office

(HW) 246 (Pre op weight loss) 9lbs (Surgery weight) 237 (1mo) 19lbs

My instruction sheet for my lab appt. typically ask for a 12 hour "not eating, water only" intake before my labs. DAVE

I have to do my 3 month labs next week for my 3 month appt. 9/7, my lab sheet says to fast for 12 hrs. before labs are done.

It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. It requires sacrifice. There will be temptation. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal, it's WORTH IT! (Author Unknown). I feel this sums up my ongoing journey to a healthier me!
