Daily Atheist Quote
I like the diversity this forum provides. I may not always agree with what is here, but it is nice to learn about others and what they think and how they live. True, this is a forum about RNY, but the daily choices we all make, with every aspect of life affects our health. I find it a benefit to hear how people deal with problems and victories with every part of their lives, even religious ones.
Thank you MM! All the god talk around this forum is quite annoying, I had to finally block that Kenny guy because I don't want to hear scripture on a surgical forum. I would go to church for that if I were so inclined. Anyways, that is a very good quote. Here's one from me:
I have examined all the known superstitions of the world, and I do not find in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology.

Also, Larry needs to research more about history.

I knew there was a reason I didn't like TJ.
Well that and the whole keeping a black woman on the side while continuing the institution of slavery thing...that annoys me too.

When you tell someone who is not Christian that you will "pray for them," it feels ... wrong. Even if you mean well, it never feels right. Does that make sense?
