Actually, I don't agree.  It should say "to be an agnostic".  Agnostics don't know and aren't afraid to admit it.  Atheists feel they do know and what they know is that there is no God.  Agnostics leave open the possibility.  I was an agnostic for years before I felt I knew.
Don't want to start a squabble.  I just felt that was not completely accurate.  I really don't care what someone believes, thinks they believe or wants to believe.  It's a personal decision and has no bearing on my life.  I don't get extra credit for converting anyone over to my set of beliefs.
