Well, my experiment with solid food this AM has not gone well. I added 1/2 c. of ripe raspberries to my morning shake, strained out the seeds and skin and enjoyed. Briefly.

I've been hugging the porcelain goddess for a couple of hours now, going between dry heaves and actually throwing up some of my shake and any liquids I've been sipping just to stay hydrated Ugh...back to all liquids today.

On a side note, I've gone down 25lbs. since my liquid diet prior to surgery. Hooray!

I'm sorry, that stinks.  I'm not allowed uncooked fruits yet.   Today I started scrambled eggs and tuna salad -- both sat really well.   I hope you can find some things that will work better for y ou.

It's OK--just a bump in the road. LOL

My plan allows me to try soft fruits and veggies. I figured raspberries would be a good choice, but that is so wrong for me. Oh well, I'll just have to wait a few more weeks before trying them again.

I remember that cooked fruits like canned peaches in juice went down much easier that anything raw.  Raw fruit contains a tremendous amount of fiber even when pureed so you might wan to try something cooked first. Good luck and take your time, it will get better!

Thanks for the tip about cooked fruit. I may try that in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I'm sipping away on clear liquids.
