Fingers crossed!

I'm going to try some almond butter and lightly toasted bread. It's on my list of things to try, so we'll see how it goes!!
I've tried other things with no problem, except for the raspberries.

That stinks!
It will get better. :) Remember, this is only a short time in the grand scheme of things. ;)

Just wanted to share and maybe give you guys some hope - I am now 9 wks out and can eat what I wish (limited quantities and making good choices, of course). But the 2 month mark was like a magic moment for me - it suddenly got so much easier to eat/get things down. I don't know if I am just used to being more careful about my bite size/chewing/not eating too fast now or if its b/c I've healed more, but I love feeling "normal" when I eat again, even if how I eat is completely different. Hope that all made sense. :)

I had my first piece of toast at 10 weeks, (last week). I didn't feel like eating much so I mixed up some PB2 and spread that on my toast. It was an amazing experience!! I loved it. This week, I have a grumpy pouch and I am doing some gentle foods. Good days and bad days - I think it might have to do with all the darn pain medications I am taking for my back!

Well, just wanted to update you all on my experiment. I only had half of the toast and almond butter, and I definitely felt full, which I don't usually feel.
It felt good to have something other than eggs, shredded cheese, soup, shakes, etc. LOL
