Ladies, do not ignore this symptom post-op
I haven't been posting for a while, can't really say why, guess I just feel like crap (emotionally, not physically, physically I feel great).
Ever since my surgery, I had almost constant spotting with some days of heavy bleeding/clots, etc. I thought it was just par for the course.
On May 4th, the bleeding was so heavy, I had to put FIVE pads on and (this is embarassing but I'm going to say it anyway) I cut holes in a trash bag and put that on over my underwear so I wouldn't bleed all over my couch/carpet. It was that bad. I ended up calling my father and going to the hospital, assuming I'd just get sent home and told it was "a heavy period". However, the blood tests came back so dangerously low in cell count that I was admitted overnight, and recieved two units of blood.
One month later I had a D&C done, along with placement of a Mirena. It was then, when they did more biopsies, that they found cancer. I'm not sure if I've ever posted my age on here, but I was just 30 years old. I've since had a birthday (July 13th) and turned 31. Still, I'm a 31 year old with uterine cancer. I go in again, on September 4th, for a hysteroscopy and more biopsies to see if the cancer has grown back. I have been told I will have to have a hysterectomy by the time I turn 35. It hurts, because I so desperately want another child.
Do not ignore abnormal bleeding. Get biopsies done. Make sure it's checked out.

I'm so sorry to hear this and hope you get well soon. Once, I ignored similar problems (along with major bruising) and nearly bled to death due to a blood condition (not cancer)-I was 22. I agree, please don't ignore these problems! It's embarassing, but you have to get over it and go to the DR immediately!

Thank you for your post-it is good reminder for everyone -I am sorry you are going through this-but with it being caught early hoping you will have a full and complete recovery-and don't give up hope just yet on that second baby!

I hope it hasn't spread, you are in my toughts.
Sadly I know two people that ignored early warning signs of cancer. One had a cough and blood in her poop. Come to find out she had stomach cancer that spread to her lungs. If something doesn't go away...don't ignore it. Even what you think is a simple cough.
