It's important to eat the first 30 minutes after waking up. If you feel ill looking at food first thing, try this. Just before bedtime, eat some type of protein, not a large amount, but 2-3 oz. This will likely help you face breakfast easier. Tastebud changes affect almost all post ops. DAVE

I just saw my NUT this week and I said the same thing about mornings. She said most people are like this at this stage, it is like the pouch shrinks up and dries out overnight and you just aren't ready to eat a meal when you wake up.
I have started to eat Breakstone's Cottage Cheese and Fruit Doubles. I cannot fini**** all and sometimes I don't add the fruit part but its staying down, its only 100 CAL and has protein in it.
Not much else suits me but frankly its a personal thing. I've been reading these forums and comparing it all to myself and my own journey and its amazing how different we all are but how helpful we are to each other.
