First day back to work - HORRIBLE/VERY TIRED
First day back to work yesterday and I am not well.
Is this normal -- I can't barely talk..
Doctors nurse is giving me a hard time- saying there is nothing they can do to help w/ the fatigue and it will go away in 3-6 months.
Please keep me in prayer- that god gives me patience, grace, and healing and strength to keep pressing on..

You are still recovering and it's going to take time. That's all you can do. We went to Six Flags a month after my surgery and while I felt physically okay, all of that walking wore me out -- and I even sat A LOT while my husband and kids went on rides.
Just take it easy and know your physical limitations. Don't let anyone make you feel like you aren't doing enough.

didn't you have a lot of complications after surgery??
You should NOT be back at work yet IMHO
It took me at least 5 weeks to not fall asleep by 6p.m. and it took 4 months for me to feel I could do much of anything by myself, and I had NO complications.
Make sure to eat protein and take your vitamins, although I don't think it will help much

I dont know if it's "normal" but I was the same way. I had several very serious complications that resulted in numerous hospitalizations. I don't think I would've ever been ready to go back to work. But, I bit the bullet and did it and still get so exhausted that driving home is a blur. I'm just trying to fight through it. Sometimes you just have to do things that suck. That's what I keep telling myself. Getting in enough protein and water during work is important to me too.
