Its normal to miss foods so early out, i remember early out missing Wings, Fries & beers.... But once you have time under your belt you will see how most of those things you missed will be a memory... especially when you see your body changing for the better and all the new clothes your going to wear....

When I was early out, I missed a lot of things: pizza, burgers from Fatburger, big bowls of ice cream, basically all the crap that didn't do me any favors.

Now, not so much. It helps me to phrase it not as "I can't eat X food" but instead "I chose not to eat X food". That helps me realize I'm in charge of my ship, so I don't feel deprived.

It's tough, but it does get easier as time goes by.

Silly anectdote: A couple of months ago I took my family to the Wendy's drive thru. I didn't get anything but they got burgers and fries. The fries smelled heavenly, so I took a small one and popped it in my mouth. Big revelation. It tasted bad. Just greasy and flat, not appealing at all.

I fight badgers with spoons.

In my early days I think I missed...

...
...

Dang, I must be old. I don't remember anything in particular. And these days I eat pretty much what I want. Things that are not as healthy, I limit myself to just a small bit.

That's encouraging!  I want to believe I will have that self-control when I'm in my maintanence phase.

Early out the only food I remember getting emotional about was a cheeseburger and french fries.  I eat regularly now, only in MUCH lesser quantities, so nothing I miss.

It does get better, for those of you early out, you may even find the things you miss now don't even taste good when you do try it.

M&M's but only when I see them at the store. Once they are out of sight, out of mind
