Oh, and about the reply that talks about food... No its not that. I have never been able to eat when I'm upset. Never. When I'm mad, sad, anxious etc. I can't even think about anything, much less food. It becomes the last thing on my mind. Right now, I should've eaten at 6, but because I'm still pissed, I can't eat. I won't go in the kitchen like this. I'll make a mess.

Okay, and just like that, I'm happy again. He offered to massage my feet (my weakness and he knows it!). He's a good man. I'm just nuts!

I've always had anger problems and found ways to overcome it before surgery. I found after surgery until about 15-16 months I was having mood swings. I was told it is from all the extra hormones in your body from losing weight so quickly. For me it has mellowed out in the last few months. Good luck :D

Estrogen is stored in the fat cells. As you burn the fat you release all that estrogen into your system. Look out! I was also in menopause when I had my surgery. I was a nut job. I told my boss she didn't want peoples opinions because she couldn't control them. Seriously. If I didn't work for a non-profit social services org I would have been out on my ass.

It gets better.

The fat loss and hormones. It messes us up. Add some blood sugar fluctuation...

Awww DEE ,
I feel so bad for you , it is awful to feel this way . especially when everything is unpredictable.
I know when I was PMS'ing ( when I was much younger) antidepressants helped a LOT , my kids called them my happy's. I still take them and have found after surgery I have had to increase my dose for 1-2 weeks every now and then.
Right now I am in the increase mode, I am so sad and lonely !!! no reason to be sad , except 2 of our daughter's are having a really hard time and have not talked to heir dad or I for over a month when we were talking every day. I KNOW I can't rely on my adult children to make me happy , that comes from me , but since I have been injured over 2 years ago ( remodeling a daughter's house , and paying for it all 16k) and being a "shut in" now that I am feeling better , I have nothing to do or nothing I want to do...I need to re-create my life ONE MORE TIME
My husband is out of town on business for a couple of days and I am pretty sure I won't hear from any of our daughter's....when I am out of town they bring him dinner , even though he is fully self contained , whaaaa whaaaa o.k. I'm done
I hope you feel better soon , the mood swings are the pits !!!!! I used to feel so sorry for my husband , he is a saint !!!
On the bright side for me, my moods are even. they are just to lowwwwwww

You might want to see your doc , I know that you have to know that fat holds estrogen and when we loose fat we loose estrogen , that can lead to all sorts of issues , you have lost a LOT of weight !!!
