NSV - cholesterol

Had labs drawn yesterday in preperation for my 3 month followup tomorrow. Was at the ob/gyn today for something else and she noticed the new lab results in my chart so was quickly giving me a preview. When she breezed by the cholesterol, saying it was normal, I stopped her and made her go back. Three years ago, it was 270. Apparently, it is now 177! WOOHOO! Here's to a healthier life! :) Can't wait to hear the details on all my labs tomorrow.

Congrats! That is awesome. I stopped taking Lipitor on the day of my surgery. At my 3 month check-up, my total cholesterol went up about 45 pts, but still in normal range, the other levels were almost where they were on the meds. Now my total cholesterol is down 30 pts and the others have improved!
