Soreness in pouch?

I was very busy today, and didn't eat at one of my mealtimes. I didn't think much of it until it was dinner time. I ate my dinner with no problem, but my pouch still hurts. It doesn't matter if I eat or drink anything--it just feels sore, like I have a ton of acid swirling around in there. I do still take Pepcid, and just finishing up my Carafate. I'm wondering if it's still sore from yesterday's upchucking or if its something different? I'm not hungry at all--not even head hunger. It just feels sore. :(

I doubt its stomach acid, as the acid production is left in your remnant stomach not your new pouch. I hope it feels better.

The pouch also makes acid. I know. I've got acid reflex after RNY.

Interesting, my whole point of having RNY was to get rid of my acid reflux and my doctor said that all the acid would bypass my new stomach and go directly into my intestines so it couldn't come up into my esophagus anymore. So far that has been my experience. I will be very unhappy if it comes back.
