Dinner Train update
So, we went to our Dinner Train Murder Mystery tonight--only to be told it was cancelled 10 minutes before departure. Boo...the fuel line broke, and no time to get a replacement. Oh well...there's next year.
Since we were already in Newport, we went to dinner at a local pub. I ordered an Ahi tuna salad, which came with a mesclun and spinach salad. No problems at all when I asked for the dressing on the side or an extra plate for my husband. It was actually much easier to ask for these things than I thought it would be. I had been dreading going out to dinner since surgery, but it worked out so well. I also had ordered an unsweetened iced tea after we were seated, and thankfully, I had that to sip on. It took quite a while for us to get our meals since it was super-busy, which again, was a bonus for me.
Overall, it was a successful night!
