9 months post op w/pics and a question about "goal" weight
I set a goal of 146 because I wanted to have a normal BMI. I got there 9 months after surgery but continued to lose. I met with the dietitian once I dropped to the low 120s. And she gave me some ideas about how I could get things to level out. I got down as low as 118 18 months post op and looked awful. Now I maintain at between 124 and 127 and have adjusted. My surgeon says he doesn't give goals b/ your body stops when it is ready. It often becomes a source of stress and frustration for many if they do not reach a "goal."

You look fantastic! Congrats! My dr said 150 would be a good goal for me and my height, but I too reached that before my 8 months out.... I'll be 9 months out on oct 23 and am currently at 147, so I have decided to just follow the program and as long as I am not going underweight I'll just let my body do what it does. If for whatever reason it does fall to underweight then I will have to try increasing calories or what have you.... For now, let's enjoy the ride and see where our body's want to stop! Congrats again, you look stunning!
