Two weeks post op and down 15 lbs!!!! That feels great!

I do have some questions though....

My doctor said I could eat regular food now since I did so well on pureed....

My questions is....I have been eating 6 times a day.

Breakfast-food 3 oz
mid morning-protein shake
Lunch-food 4 oz
mid afternoon-protein shake
dinner-food 4 oz
night time snack-food 4 oz

Does this look good to everyone....is it to much? I have not gotten sick at all. Even when I eat 4 oz at dinner I feel fine....not stuffed or anything. I just stop at 4 oz...I am worried I am eating to much.

I will be out 4 months tomorrow and still struggle with 2.5 oz of protein. I can however eat 8 ounces of yogurt or cottage cheese :) If I eat more than that I need to lay down and digest and sometimes can't drink anything for 90 minutes instead of the 1 hour. Good luck sounds like you are doing good and your doctor is impressed. I would check with your nut as to how much you should be eating at a sitting though.

Congrats on the weight loss! How much protein are you eating a day?  6 times a day is fine as long as you're getting protein with each one. I was 2.5 weeks before I went from liquids to 3-4 oz of puree/very soft foods. (each surgeon is different) Make sure you measure, because it may be a while before you feel full. It takes a while for the cut nerves in our pouch to heal. Also make sure you're drinking at least 64 oz of fluid. I hope you have a successful journey!
