Lapband removed and date for my RNY

Yesterday I got my lapband removed. It only took my surgeon 30mins to get it out and he only had to use two of the 5 cuts I had when putting it in. My stomach is super as well as my throat and chest. I have to worst gas pains right now. He also gave me the date for my RNY December 12th YAY

I'm surprised they make you go through two procedures and don't do it at the same time.  

 I'm a lap band revision as well.  I had mine removed in 2008 and just had RNY done July 26th.  Good luck!  You're going to love it... if you hated the band as much as I did.
