I am soory no one has replied to you let me make a suggestion. I would contact a bariatric surgeon in your area or online and find out if they accept it. I would also contact SC Medicaid and see if they will approved the surgery and what you need to do to get it done. Make sure you get names of who you talk to . I hope that helps. Good Luck

I have First Choice and they require 6 months of documented diet at the surgery center and that the surgery has to be deemed medically necessary, so you must have comorbid illnesses such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, etc... they also require several test like sleep study and you may have to see a cardiologist. First Choice is not my primary insurance, Aetna is but because I am using both, I still have to meet their guidelines. MUSC Bariatric Center in Charleston accepts Medicaid

I know the BLUE CHOICE plan on Sc Medicaid pays for wls :) You don't have to do the 6 month weigh in either!
