How do you stay away or cut back on carbs? There are carbs in just about everything it seems. I'm getting in about 75-100g of carbs a day, but all of my carbs are whole grain or beans or from dairy. I'm getting about 1000 cals a day about 80-90g of protein & 65-80 oz of water. My weight has been going up & down a few pounds the past few months now. Should I be eating more? I know I need to move more, which is something I'm working on. Some advice or input would be appreciated.

I stay away from "White Carbs"   Potatoes, rice, white flower, pasta... etc.  To me those are the "Evil Carbs"

Yeah I don't eat those kind of carbs anymore.  Mainly my whole grain with flax flatouts, pinto, cheese's, fruits & veggies & some wheat thins with my ham & cheese roll up.

I just do. I replaced high carb dairy with low carb: i.e. plain Greek Yogurt, Coconut or almond unsweet milk instead of milk,
I gave up grains - all of them.  And if I ever have that - it is a bite. Small bite.  One.
Beans - i don't eat them - I can't digest them, and yes I tried everything - and the gas and the pain and the smell is just too much for me.
I gave up starchy veggies - so no more potatoes, beets, cooked carrots, etc.  I may have some as long as it is in a dish , but not a lot.
I do eat veggei s- but mostly non -starchy. That carbs - I don't even count.
Fruits - yea,... I eat very seldom, and not a lot. MMaybe 1/2 serving and only with proteins and fat.

That is drastic - but it works for me.  Not only keep my weight in check, but also hunger, and keeps my blood sugar very stable, and keep my severe RH in check.

I stay away from all white carbs and starchy veggies like potatoes and corn. Also also I limit my fruit to a medium strawberry size once or twice a week. I've just told myself the other stuff is no longer on the menu for me at least for the next year or so during my losing phase, and then very minimally after. Good luck! Sounds like you're doing well!
