Keeping that darn protein drink COLD!
So, last night when I was reading posts I thought "Why not post some easy solutions to common problems". Here is my seconds one of the day.
It was something that bothered me! YUCK!! Warm protein drinks My solutions..... I used a Hamilton Beach single serving blender (All of my links will be from Amazon, I shop there a lot because I have Amazon Prime and that gives me free 2 day shipping, obviously you can shop anywhere) LINK to the blender. If I used water for my drink I would first put 4 ice cubes in the blender and then add water until it reached the 8 oz line. Hit the blend button for a second then let the ice cubes sink to the bottom and hit it again. Repeat this until the ice is not chunks any more (this prevents a foamy drink). You can tell from the sound when they are gone. If you use milk, then do the same with frozen milk cubes.
Then, take the freezer mug LINK (I only picked this one because it is cheap) and pour it in. If this doesn't keep it cold, nothing will, LOL! As I was able to drink faster I gave up on the freezer mug and just drank from the blender cup.......I still do this

I have to recommend the "Tervis Tumbler"... go on their website, they are the best insulated drinkware out there in my opinion... I got all mine in SC where I am from and here in Pittsburgh, where we have lived for the last 7 yrs, the only place I have found them is "Bed, Bath & Beyond".... I will do my shake with frozen fruit and ice and it stays frozen/cold on the hour drive to work and for the remaning half hour till I fini**** well worth the money and any style you could want...they keep your drinks HOT too.....
