You look awesome! Can I ask how you did it? I mean how much protein, how many calories? I'm only a month behind you and the weight is coming off slowly.

At 8/9 months I was still taking in about 800-1000 calories a day..aiming for 75+ grams of protein. I've tried to always go to the gym 3-4 times a week my focus has been just cardio until a few weeks ago when I decided to start working with a trainer. I log my food on myfitnesspal and my surgeon just said I could up to 12-1500 calories. Thanks so much for your kind comments!

Could you give me some tips on how you were dealing about 6 months out? We started about the same spot but I find myself falling back into bad habits, lazy and not near goal. Tips are helpful! Did you have some pitfalls?

At 6 months out I was having about 600-800 calories..aiming for as much protein as possible 70g MINIMUM. At that point I hadn't really introduced fruit back into my diet but I was getting a good mix of protein/veggies. I also hadn't introduced bread/pasta/rice back either. My pitfall was that I was getting hungry(and I still do) and I didn't want to let myself snack..however I realized I cant be miserable and hungry for the rest of my life so now I keep slices of ham, grape tomatos, cheese sticks, turkey pepperonis on hand so I can have a snack if I'm hungry between meals. I track everything on myfitnesspal. I have since added back in some whole grain breads, brown rice, and more starchy veggies as my surgeon wants us to have a diet that is rich in fruit/veggies and whole grains. I still eat almost the same thing everyday a mostly eggwhite omelet with reduced fat cheddar for breakfast and tuna salad for lunch...with protein forward snacks throughout the day.

Your torso is perfect! Sooo thin! You have done such a great job at being committed to your plan, and it shows! Congrats! I hope you feel better soon from the wisdom teeth.
