Prayers :)
So I have my appointment with my surgeon on Wednesday and then by Friday everything will be submitted to insurance. I'm extremely nervous because I went through this process last year only to be refused by Aetna and then constantly ignored each time I sent in my appeal- my step father adopted me and my brother this year(yes, I am an adult- long story but it's fantastic :) ) so I now have another insurance along with Aetna- United Healthcare- I've spoken with them and it seems as though all my information checks out and is looking good- just waiting for the submission from the surgeons office next week- They have said as long as i meet X Y and Z then they will approve me :) I do meet X, Y, Z but I'm still nervous- I went through this process last year only to be told no... They didn't care about the fact that this surgery will actually give me a chance at a real life... a life past 40 :) I was so crushed when they said no... and then the appeal process- ended up sending the letter multiple times- even paid the little extra to have the conformation receipt- called several times to be told either A) they never received it or B) they put me on hold for ages and then somehow I would always get "disconnected"
This is my chance at having a life- a healthy life at that. This is a tool that I am praying to be blessed with that will allow me the opportunity to change my life for the better.
