First let me say...so happy to have it gone! However, this month I've lost 6 lbs...again grateful and I do believe I'm going through a catch up time and my body is shifting. I got a pair of pants up farther than 2 weeks ago...I just have farther to go than most of you. I wanted your experiences and tell me too cool it and trust the process. Before you ask, I have got to get back on some kind exercise bandwagon. I need it through the holidays. And drink my water! We'be been freezing at work so water is the last thing on my mind. Hopefully that issue is fixed.

Thanks!!!

Things do start slowing down, but either way, 100 lbs is amazing! I still havent lost 100 since surgery. I've lost 86 since surgery. So I still have a ways to go, and my weight loss has certainly slowed way down. I think I lost 3 lbs last month? Something like that. But at this point, I dont care. I feel fantastic! Just keep working your tool. you'll get there!

I'm at 64lbs lost pre-op (96 lbs total) and almost 6 months out. I've notice a slight lag in how much I lose as well - try not to stress to much about it. You'll get there!!

I'm 4 1/2 months out down 79 & I was slowing down too. I upped my calories, water & protein & now I'm back to losing 3 lbs/ week. That helped me

My surgeon said that the first 5 and 6 months is the time the maximum weight loss will occur.  Doesn't' mean we are done by any means.  I don't know where you started at but 100lbs is most excellent!  Some lose more, some less depending on how much one needs to lose.  This time next year you will be so thin we won't be able to see you in your avatar!  Best wishes, Jane

But doesn't it feel awesome to say 299?  Yes we will keep at it and support one another!

As you get farther out, your loss slows because you have less to lose. I lost the first 100 in seven months, but the rest is coming off much slower. The important part is not to get discouraged or give up. Slow is better than no loss or gain.  Take your measurements, get in your water and protein, move your body, and keep the faith. You will get there.

If you are too cold to drink water at work, try no caff herbal tea. I drink it and water all day long at work, and have no trouble getting in 100+ounces of fluid.

I fight badgers with spoons.
