You have done a fantastic job. At 6 months, I had lost 61 lbs post-op, plus 26 lbs pre-op. Now, at 14.5 months, it has slowed down a lot.  Now I've lost 93 lbs post-op plus 26 lbs pre-op. I would like to lose down to 150 lbs, but will be happy at 165 lbs.

I lost 100 pounds in the first 5 months.  I am now at 6 months and have only lost 2 pounds in the last month.  VERY frustrating!!  Hang in there, I am keeping the faith that I will start losing again soon.

I lost 14 preop so my surgery weight was like 266. Here is a break down of my monthly losses Month 1 -27; Month 2 -13; Month 3 -16; Month 4 -14; Month 5 -12.5; Month 6 -9.5; Month 7 -6.5; Month 8 -12.5; Month 9 -7; Month 10 -4; and so far this month I've lost 6.5. I've also lost a ton of inches in the last 4-6 weeks..I went from a size 10 to a size 4 so quickly.

My best advice would be to track your intake and switch things up if you start to stall out and keep on..keepin on! If your on myfitnesspal feel free to add me..I'm manda91003 over there(anyone can add me!)

Hey Sherry!

Congrats on your weight loss! I am 4 weeks post op tomorrow and I am down 32 pounds. I am just scared that if I eat REAL food the weight won't come off. I hope that is not true.

I see that you and I had the same surgeon, Dr. Hart. I really do like him. He is very quiet but very good at what he does and he will answer ALL your questions. I think he is a fine surgeon and he is very kind. One of my incisions became infected and he was very concerned and took care of it! Still healing...but getting better!

Keep up the good work! You give me hope that the weight will come off....even if I DO eat real food. Hope so. I just can't stand the protein drinks.

Take care!

Amy :)

Cool it!!!!  Yes it slows down, but it does keep coming off. At 7+ months out, I lost 10 pounds last month, but lost a total of 8 inches. The most inches I had lost in a month! Just keep working with your tool, work your program and things will happen as they happen. Good luck to you!

Thanks so much everyone....my Mom even told me last night that I looked funny ...lol I think in comparison to almost 6 months ago....it is pretty dramatic...need to post more pics. I still have 50 pounds to go before I get back to where I was when I lost on weigh****chers but mentally I feel like I'm there! LOL

Amy, I see Dr H on 12/13 for my 6 month visit. Sorta worried since I may not hit his Target...gotta keep plugging along. Maybe I'll run into you sometime. You'll get there with real food and you will lose. Promise...just listen to your body. I love me some Dr hart....I just never considered anyone else once I met him and his staff.

Take care everyone!!
