I cannot stress the importance of exercise enough.  Just one month of boot camp (3X/week) has re-sculpted my body!  I have no saddle bags, no love handles, and my stomach is thisclose to being flat.  I still have 30+ pounds to lose but I look and feel great.  I have still have more to do (more toning) but it is working.

Please don't rely on calorie reduction/restriction only.  I wish I had started much earlier than 3.5 months post-op.

Surgery weight:  232 lbs. / Goal: 145 lbs. Height:  5'5"     Fat? Ain't nobody got time for that.

When did you get the ok to lift, run, work out?

I got the ok from my surgeon at 5 weeks post-op.  I waited until 3 months for strenuous exercise because I was so tired all the time.  Now I feel great.
