just need to vent....
Take care everyone...any words of advice would be appreciated.

Does your work day provide an opportunity for you to get in your exercise during your lunch break? Even if it is a 30 minute walk.
Some co-workers invited me to do Jillian Michaels ripped in 30 with them at lunch time and it has been a lifesaver. On days when I have a packed evening, I can count on it to get in my exercise and still have time for other things. All you need is the DVD and some 5 pound dumbells. I carry a little clean up kit in my bag to freshen up after I'm done before I go back to my desk.

In order of importance (in my non-expert opinion). :
1. Hang in there.
2. Eat the right things.
3. Move your body, somehow, some way. Doesn't have to be a gym - go up and down your stairs at home 20 times a day, spend your break at work walking a lap around the building, bundle up and go for a walk outside either or your lunch or before after work (get a cheap LED light if it is dark out).
4. Drink the right things.
Remember - your doctor and your NUT work for you, not the other way around, it is not your job to live up to their expectations or meet their goals. If you aren't happy with what is going on with your weight loss/nutrition talk to them, see if and how they can help you, remembering they work for you!
When my weight loss slowed down/stalled I looked at it like this - I have done something major to my body and it is undergoing so many changes. This slow down/stall is my body's weight of asking me WTH is going on and trying to regain control. The idea here for me was to just wait it on, kind of a stand off, which was going to give in first - my mind which would result in me freaking out and diving into a box of crackers or my body, which would result in my body finally giving up and letting go of some more weight. So far my mind and I have been the victor!
You are doing well. Do not beat yourself up.
My loss slowed after the six month mark. It didn't stop, but it slowed down noticeably. And that makes some sense when you think about it. As you get closer to your goal, you have less to lose, so you don't have as dramatic or quick of a loss.
Exercise can be done anywhere. If you are concerned about money, try workout DVDs. You can check them out from your local library, borrow from acquaintances, or sometimes find them on sale for cheap. Is there a community center near you? Often they offer classes for a very small fee. And there's always walking. Unless you have a condition that prevents you from walking, you can do that in lots of places. If outside is cold/scary/dark, there's the mall. I walk up and down the stairs at work. They are inside, so I have climate control and no excuse.
And what is your doctor's goal for you? Is it realistic? You've been losing, on average, 15 lbs a month. That's pretty great.

hi everyone:) i had surgery on nov 6th. i lost 12 lbs before surgery and only have lost another 12lbs? its been a lil over 3 weeks and yes i lost inches but the scale hasnt budged in over a week. just started working out today but now im getting depressed what to do?
Weight loss happens in fits and starts. It's very common to have periods when the scale doesn't move, and it can be scary for a new post op; because secretly many of us fear this won't work for us. But it does work.
So stay on plan and put the scale away for awhile. It's better for your mental health, and you will enjoy this process so much more. And don't compare. We all lose at different rates.
take care

I understand how you feel. if you join a gym , make sure your not signing a long term contract. Ive been a member at LA fitness you can cancel your contract at any giving time or even freeze it to keep your member ship on hold until your able to financial afford it .
Do not sign a contract with Bally's stay away from them. Because they want you to commit to a 3 yrs long term contract, which can effect your credit rating.
Another suggestion is to do. Walk out side . even though its cold put on 3 pairs of stretchable pants 3 shirts longs sleave , with gloves and your coat . and just walk the park .
I remember 12 yrs ago I had to move in temporary in to my mother house, because My landlord building went into foreclosure , and he filed bankruptcy. and us 6 tenants had to evacuate immediately . I was renting from a private landlord because I had no credit . No apartment complex was willing to give me a chance . So I was searching for a new apt. But in the mean while I continue to save up more money as well to convince some palce that I was capable of paying 8 month in advance for my rent if giving the oportunity .. I work 3 pm- 11:30 pm shift . I hated to come to her home because she would just Bi!!h and complain constantly . At the end of my shift . I would Waite until she was a sleep first before entering her home to avid hearing her mouth . 6 am was the time she get's ready for work. all she would say,I cant wait for you to get out when are you leaving? I went through so much mental stress . That in the cold winter time I would put on several layers of clothes and get up at 5:45 am to leave just to avoid her. I would walk and talk and pray to god everyday to give me the strength and the ability to find another apartment soon as well as giving me the strength to put up and avoid the mental nervous breakdown from my mother vindictive ways .For faithfully I did this for 6 months straight. everyday . and I got use to walking the park for 4 miles long. When eventually I found another apartment finally and I move out of her hell whole house . I notice that I had peace of mind from walking and praying and talking to God on a daily basis .That gave me the motivation to keep on walking and not stop.
6 months later I finally found an apt .I had decided to sleep in and not walk. Then I started feeling so guilty , that I had to change my mind from taking off the day and got up out of bed to walk for 1 hr. . At one point I never consider that walking and praying & talking to god was a beneficial , exercise. I had considerate it a way of avoiding stress , and finding peace within myself. Peace of mind to help keep my sanity. as a result of that . I didn't realize that I lost 25 lbs . I didn't mention while staying temporary at my mother house, I was not allowed to eat her food I had to buy my own. I was drinking slim fast shake for breakfast, lunch, fruit for snack and salad for dinner at work .
My point Iaam stressing is walking is still the best work out for you. And its free.
I forgot to mention. Congratulation on loosing 107lb. your doing very good. and you lost way more weight faster them me. My RNY had failed me. because I had to go on diet pills to help me loose weight. but as soon as you stop taking diet pills weight starts to creep back on . I only lost 65 lb with the combination of taking phenteramine diet pills and Lypo tropic + B12 shots to help me loose 65 lbs in 18 months . and switching drinking only protein shake , no food for 5 months to only loose 5lb. you are doing good. keep up the good work.
I think when I start to feel secure with my job and the personal issues calm down...all will be right with the world.

I even order the swimsuit I wanted over the summer for next summer....just hope it fits and not too big! Only about 50 to go by next May!!
((((Hugs)))))))
Your the best!
