NSV Balloon volleyball and Sweet 16 party

Today was such a great day.  My daughter's best friend that we call our "second daughter" had her Sweet 16th birthday party.  I was concerned about the food, sweets, etc. but there were enough foods that I could have that it was a breeze!  ****tail shrimp so agrees with me...yummy! 
My daughter and I went early to help set up.  We had a short break in setting up when the party mom went to the store to get a few more supplies.  During that time, my daughter tossed a balloon to me, as I was sitting in a chair.  Without giving it a thought, I stood up and hit the balloon back to her.  We continued to play balloon volleyball for nearly 30 minutes!  Prior to surgery, there was no way I'd be able to jump around and play like that.  We played hard, too. lol 
Another NSV was dancing without getting out of breath, sweaty and flushed.  I had such a fun time with the teenagers.  They taught me some new dances, like The Wobble? Dougie...just to name a few.  FUN! 
Oh, and I need new clothes!  My pants sag like crazy. 
 

Thank you for sharing this NSV.   I love to hear about these.  When I have one it encourages me keep going.  Keep up the good work. It can and will be a challenging journey but it is soooooo worth it.   Keep sharing
