10 more days

Ten days left til my surgery date. How's everyone else around that date holding up with waiting? I'm going mad lol

I'm on pins and needles. My date is Jan 4th and I will start my liquids on Friday of this week. I'm not really scared about the surgery, I'm more concerned about the liquid diet and caring for my kids afterwards. At least they are older (12 and 15) so they can help me out.

Liquid diet isn't so bad. I'm thankful my boys are older too- 11 and 14.

My surgery is on Friday and I was at your MAD state over the weekend.  At that point I wanted to call it quits and just eat a normal meal.  Hang in there...there is light at the end of the tunnel.  I had my pre-op this morning and it really has made this a reality.  Hang in there we are gona do it.

Oh I meant crazy not angry- diet hasn't been too bad, though might be because I don't have to do it- just doing it to lose as much as possible before surgery. Good luck on Friday!

My Surgery is in 2 days !!   Yes, I am going nuts... I am not scared of the surgery, not looking forward to the pain afterwards though... I CAN"T WAIT SO EXCITED TO START A NEW LIFE !!!  Scared to fail though.. I can do this though and you can too !

Oh congrats!!! I hear ya, though I am a little bit scared of the surgery and a lot of bit scared I will fail too!

I'm hanging in there. About 2 weeks ago I was a wreck, this week I'm pretty calm about it. I expect that to change Monday or Tuesday, my surgery is on that Wednesday. I'm mostly concerned because I live alone, I have people who will check in on me I'm sure, just not someone to stay with me 24 hours. Hopefully I'll be ok.

I'm sure you will do fine.  I know I did fine after my hysterectomy and I was home alone for most of the day several days afterward.

Hello....

I'm so nervous about this liquid diet starting Christmas Eve. My surgery date is January 7th. I'm also having my gallbladder out and a hernia removed. So I'm having major anxiety.
