Feeling like im about to break down any minute
Try different temperatures. I could only drink water at room temp. I did well with popsicles, jello, and broths early postop. It will get better. Call them and tell them you nausea level (there's always someone on call, call the hospital and ask to speak to the surgical resident on call if yours isn't there) and get some meds for the nausea. They can give it to you in suppositories so you don't throw up. Its gross (yes) but do it you'll feel better trust me.
I hope you feel better soon sweetie! Get some rest and try walking around a little during the day when you get up to pee. It will help with your healing too. Be gentle to yourself too. Your emotions are going to be all over the place right now so expect that. If you have any other questions please post them. It helps to know others have been through your experience too (((HUGS)))

I am sorry you are going through this. I am pre-op so have no advice but have been stocking up on quite a few different herbal teas as I currently drink a lot of water and will need plenty of something in order to stay hydrated. It is good to know that playing around with temperature can make a difference.
Blessings!
