This New Years resolution is harder than I thought it would be......

Some of you that are FB friends of mine might have seen that my New Years resolution happily was not in any way related to my weight, yee-haw!!

My resolution was to unsubscribe from all that junk email that I get every day instead of just deleting it. Remember in the old days all the telemarketers that called the house endlessly from about 3 pm until 8 or 9 pm? Junk email is even worse. I'll bet I get 25-40 a day. I keep forgetting and hit delete, then I go to my recently deleted, open the damn thing and search the teeny tiny print at the bottom for the unsubscribe link and jump through the hoops to hopefully get it to stop.

So, what was your wackiest New Years resolution?

Watch out.  Sometime****ting the "Unsubscribe" link puts you in the list of known good email addresses that they can sell.  That happens because the email generated a human response.  It can actually increase the volume of junk mail after a couple months.

I've been doing that throughout the past few months, a few here and there. They are from places I signed up for - usually to get some coupon or deal. But seriously, I don't need multiple emails from one place in the same week! So I've been doing the same as you. So annoying and time consuming.

No huge resolutions for me. Just to "kick it up" with the committment I made to my health last year. That means tracking and working out. Off to an ok start today - could've done better tracking.

I was gonna spend less time on the internet, how wacky is that?!? So far it's not happening. And my mother got me a Kindle Fire for Christmas so I can even internet on the toilet now!!

I just spam and delete my crazy emails. Hubby has an extra email address that he never checks that he uses to sign up for stuff that he expects to spam him. My brother, when he and I went shopping before Christmas together, gave out his boss's email as his own at every store that asked, lol. Gotta watch those crazy accountants!

Oh, and after all my mad posting on the forum tonight I think I'll resolve to stop saying "Hubby" and using so many exclamation points. I'm getting on my own nerves!! (Oh damn, there I go again.)
