I am bad and didnt really 'do' purees. I had pea soup and yogurt a lot. Pea soup was great for a diff flavor. I had refried beans and salsa (took out the chunks) with cheese and sour cream. My sleeve handled quite well.

My favorite was canned chicken meat and mashed potatoes with little gravy pureed and mixed. Yum! Just like school lunch years ago!

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

I don't know about pasta sauce......my instructions were no tomato products or ketchup for three months as the acid could hurt your pouch.

My plan actually has a few recipe ideas that include salsa, so I am sure it will be okay for me.
