I'm on Omeprazole twice a day because I have Barretts, doctor said I could stop, but I agreed to cut down to one until I am positive I have no Gerd.  Not taking any chances with Barretts.  That said, it's just preventative in our plan to avoice getting an ulcer from acid.  He has us on Protein only for several months (with a little mayo, etc to moisten).  To be honest, getting sick of it and I am at a stall since week three and getting discouraged.

I just made my tuna yesterday.  I used miracle whip (which I'm not really fond of, but thought I'd try for less fat) and I always finely chop sweet pickles for our tuna.   I just added cottage cheese and it was delish!!!  thanks for the idea!  I would have never thought of it!

-Canned split pea soup with diced ham pureed into it

-Seasoned black beans (they come seasoned in the can) pureed with a little greek yogurt and LF cheese on top

-Ricotta/sauce bake with cheese (I also pureed cooked turkey sausage into the sauce-yum!)

-Canned Corned beef hash

-Dried beef gravy pureed with mashed potatoes (this one was good for some protein on grumpy pouch days)

-Plain greek yogurt mixed with mashed banana and a little splenda

Chili pureed was my go to.  I loved the extra spice, it felt good to add some flavor to my diet.

Lentil soup and black bean soup have been my favorites so far, plus the fiber has helped...erm...elimination. I add a little cheese to them (parmesan to the lentil and LF cheddar to the black bean) to boost the protein. It's really nice to eat hot savory things after 2 weeks of sweet/cold/creamy.

Also, I found that scrambled eggs are so soft to begin with that if I chew them really well they go down very easily.
