What have you/are you eating today (Friday edition)...
Been missing this post today...like to see what everyone else has on their plate as it gives me ideas - plus posting my own keeps me accountable!
Breakfast: Protein shake
Lunch: leftover chili, leftover rotisseri chicken
Snack: apple slices with greek yogurt
That brings us to now...supper is up in the air. Waiting to hear if I am eating out with my sister, otherwise I will probably catch something quick while running errands with my hubby and kids. So either a Chipotle chicken burrito bowl or Subway - or something off the light menu at Olive Garden if I go with my sister.
Not making it to the YMCA tonight but will be there both days this weekend!
Amy
~ sigh ~... I'm getting into food ruts. I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian (and was a total "simple carb" addict) and am turned off by quite a few things I used to enjoy that were healthy (e.g. eggs). I'm only 9 weeks out from my surgery; hoping that healthy foods will appeal to me again one day.
Breakfast - Protein shake (I have this every weekday morning, while driving to work).
Snack - greek yogurt and 2 low fat graham crackers
Lunch - 1 1/2 lite Baby Bel cheeses, several crackers, small container mandarin orange sections
Snack (on drive home) - protein shake
Dinner - dreading it already... maybe some hummus, raw veggies, dip and crackers
Liquid diet! :) My surgery is in 10 days. I just thought I would chime in that your food choices look pretty good to me!
FRIDAY!
I still have back pain today but it's getting better. The more I move the better I feel.
So...doing. Work. Then home to clean. Nothing exciting. Meh.
Eats as I know them:
1. "The Clappe" I discovered I like the combo of Fit Frappe Espresso and a scoop of Click (I use decaf for good measure). YUM!
2. Beach Club Unwich from Jimmy John's
3. I'm drinking a mocha right now that I made (not protein)
4. Not sure. I'm not hungry. That Unwich did the job! Dinner will likely be a Jennie-O turkey burger with cheese and bacon
5. If I need it, probably some cottage cheese with Fiber One.
RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!
I'm so glad its friday..and that its a 3 day weekend!
B: Egg white omelet with cheddar and a banana
S: NF SF Caramel Latte
L: Side Salad from McD w/no dressing and a grilled chicken breast from El pollo loco
S: Oatfit oatmeal
D: Sloppy joe on 1 piece of low cal bread, mini corn on the cob
S: Cheese toast
I'll probably end up having a greek yogurt at some point as my cals are only at about 1300 with the above
