I am just over a month out still on full liquids (due to ulcer and some narrowing) but will be moving to the pureed stage soon I hope. The first few weeks I was craving fast food 24/7 I kid you not I was even dreaming about it. Before my surgery I pretty much ate fast food everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I actually really enjoy cooking but would really only make something specific if me or my fiance were really wanting it. The first two weeks were really  hard because I wanted fast food so badly. All I could think about was how I couldnt wait to be able to eat food again so I could start seeing what kind of fast food would work for me. I swear it felt like I was addicted and couldnt wait until I could get my fast food fix again. Thankfully that has passed. I know it will be a struggle and those feelings will probably come back but why there not here I want to get excited about other foods that are healthy and weight loss surgery friendly thats when I found the eggface blog. Im excited to try so many of the recipes and start working on some of my own. I wanted this surgery not to just lose weight but to start a healthy new lifestyle. My fiance and I dont have children yet but when we do I really want to set good healthy examples. Before I thought for something to be healthy there was no way it would taste good but thats going to be my mission to find healthy tasty food that become staples in my house and that my future children will grow up eating and that will taste yummy if you havent checked out the eggface site you defiantly should

This is such a wonderful site.  We can share ANYTHING and nothing seems to be TMI.  It is good to know that other people have walked the same road and encountered many of the same things.  It also is inspirational, as if there are others who can do this, so can we.

Those that share on a blog are just wonderful.  Thank you all.
