Recycled "slow loser" post :)

That would be correct, except I am up to 106 but haven't changed it on my signature yet. I lost too much weight due to unrelated health issues this past summer and fall. I am trying to get back up to 115. I never thought that in this lifetime that I would be TRYING to gain weight!

The 140 was what I thought that I could attain. When I got there my body said "Let's keep going!" LOL!

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues.  My only issue is that I still feel worn out all the time and don't have the motivation to exercise.  I'm not sure if its the lack of carbs or the lack of calories.

Thank you again for your post!!

Thank you sooo much for this post....I have been struggling within myself with my small weight loss, as much as tell myself you are doing good and following the plan I cant believe it..but it is refreshing to see that this does happen and at the end you do get the results you always wanted...thanks to you and the vets for always saying what we NEED to hear and not just what we would like to hear.

Let's be completely honest. Once in a while, our fears arising from losing slowly do come to pass. Yes, losing weight can stop despite our best efforts. Evidently, it more often just goes slowly but keeps going. In my case, it stopped. I'm extremely depressed about it, and--to be frank again--there isn't much support on this forum for folks whose RNY failed. No, the group doesn't need a bunch of negative energy, but let's not hide the truth, either.

Anything is possible, and I believe in miracles. Not for me, but in a general way. So maybe weight loss will start again in the future. Improbable, but...who knows?

I had no idea that you are struggling with this. What does your surgeon have to say about it? I have a few more questions if you don't mind. If you do mind just tell me to stuff it!

Did you lose all of the 85 pounds since surgery? How was your early (after surgery) weight loss? When did the weight loss stop? Has your thyroid been tested? Do you have other symptoms that seem unrelated?

I am not doubting you at all, I just have never heard of this before.
