Medifast any feedback

I am on my two weeks post surgery liquid diet. I am really enjoying the medifast shakes. My only concern is that the sugar is a little high and I am concerned that after surgery I will have a problem with dumping. Its 14grams of protein and 7grams of sugar but its the only shakes that I enjoy. Anyone use the Medifast shakes after surgery(im talking the powder) Thanks surgery is Feb5th

I was wondering the same thing.  I still have Medifast foods and shakes from before my surgery, and I wondered if I can still have them.  I'll be curious to see the responses!  I did have a shake one day and it did not upset me or cause dumping.

My program says less than 15 grams of sugar should be ok - but  they only want you to drink an ounce at a time, so it gets spread out. I think you just have to experiment. Most would say the less sugar the better, but you won't be able to drink a lot all at once.
