Just a minor complaint about hubby

My ex also had the "wasn't raised that way" excuse.  I told him he was an intelligent person and could LEARN to do something so small that would make me happy.  I didn't feel that was asking too much.  I think men use that excuse "that's just the way I am" because sometimes they are just lazy or don't want to be bothered.....and they usually get away with it because we women let them.  They also "can't remember" birthdays or anniversaries, and "can't think of anything" to get as a gift.  Most of my friends have husbands like this.  No, I'm sorry.....YES they can remember, and think and learn, if it's important enough to them.  They can remember when the Super Bowl is, can't they?

This issue has nothing to do with the reason why we divorced.  It's just one of my major peeves.  Sorry for the rant!
