Can't believe I waited over 6 months to trick out my shakes

I am stubborn!  I know if I increase my protein I will lose faster.  However I hate shakes and refused to drink them.  Today I opened one of my Premier Protein RTD shakes (chocolate) and poured in about 2 ounces of SF peanut butter syrup - all over ice.  It's really pretty good.  I could kick myself for not doing this long ago.  Next time I'm trying SF salted caramel mixed with it.

Salted Carmel is good, try Dulce de Leche (I find it has a smoother flavour), I think DaVinci makes that one.  Also ... COOKIE DOUGH.  So good.  I find even adding Chocolate syrup to a chocolate shake with a pinch of cinnamon is perfect for crushing the "monthly" cravings

Have fun and enjoy the variety that is out there.  I have about 10 different syrups so I can always change it up.

Thank you for the suggestions!!  My nut got on me the other day for my low protein intake and said I have to add at least one high protein shake.  This may work for me.  I love Dulce de Leche!

Where do you find these syrups?  If I can find them in the local supermarkets, it's usually just the vanilla and hazelnut.  Where else can I look for them?

Thanks for any suggestions!

I tend to buy the unflavoured Whey with ISO protein from GNC - that way I can flavour it any way I want.  I can also add it to soups  and smashed veggies and stuff.

Always add it AFTER the food is heated though, protein powder will blend with hot food but does not like to be cooked.  It gets all bubbly and gross.

I know Amazon and Walmart offer some but I ordered mine from the DaVinci website.  They have every imaginable SF flavor.  Torani also has them.

If you like fruit smoothies, you can also do that.  Since pre-surgery, I've been blending  my shakes with 1/2 cup to 1 cup of frozen fruit, a little mio or crystal lite, some water and ice cubes.  Absolutely delicious...I truly look forward to my morning smoothie!  Favorites are Syntrax Vanilla Torte  with frozen strawberries and strawberry kiwi crystal light powder.  Syntrax fuzzy navel with frozen peaches and Mio peach-mango flavoring.
