My RNY was yesterday and the only problem I'm having is with painful hiccups that won't go away. Am I crazy?

I had the same thing the first couple of days! Instead of tooting I got the hiccups. It will go away, promise!

Ouch! I had painful hiccups at first too.  If I get them now they don't hurt anymore, but they did for a few days.  I think it's because you're so sore.  I'll get better.

I also had surgery Monday and am having the same thing. I'm hoping to get past it quickly.

I experienced the hiccups my first couple weeks post op. They always came after drinking. I am about 3 1/2 weeks out now and I dont get them much at all anymore. Sadly, you just have to wait them out.

Yep, I had my surgery on Tuesday and have had some painful hiccups as well.  Not sure why I am getting them, but just wanted you to know you're not alone!
