I thought I'd look online for a job...the current situation I'm in doesn't look steady and honestly, there is one part I'm just not getting and it's so frustrating for me and the controller....so I'm really have to find something more stable and with benefits.  So, after 3 attempts at a website, I've worked in banking for 19 years and this current job....the first job I had several roles so it's alot of input....never could get it to submit.....so I print out my resume, cover letter and references...would you believe the printer jammed on the envelope...twice so I said what the hay, wrote it out myself...so much for professional....then I'm to the point, no I did not handle this well....ate 3 pieces of son's valentine candy...thank gawd it's gone....now I decided going to hit the treadmill since I've slacked off the exercise with job, and starting school in january....guess what...can't find the flipping key to get it to turn on!!! Homework isn't looking to appealing at this point since it's such a hard subject....I gotta exercise or I'm gonna blow....I thought I'd exercise at home so i could immediately hit the books...but at this point, maybe going to the Riverwalk would be better and get some fresh air......ARGH!!

Thank you for reading.....and letting me blow off some steam.....life is just hard at times...and this is sooooo trival!!

I hear ya...just think about how far you've come and focus on yourself and your successes at the moment.  It makes all the negative things kind of melt away.  Be grateful you have a job already, no matter the cir****tances, so many people right now struggling to find a job of any kind.

So you had a couple of chocolates, you're human, but remember next time before you reach for the chocolates that your new habits to deal with stress don't include eating junk food.  I struggle with that one too.  I bought my hubby a very small box of chocolates for Vday, thinking later if I had one it was no big deal.  I read the Nutrional Information on the back and put it back down on his desk, so much for that idea...way too much sugars and carbs to even justify one.  I went downstairs and got myself some pistachios instead. It's not easy, but I take it one day at a time.

School as an older student can be tough, especially when you have all your other responsibilities.  I work at a University and see older students with different struggles than the younger ones.  Truth is you have a lot of other responsibilities and it can be tough to try to juggle it all.  If you live in a place where you can go outside for a nice walk, it might be better than being inside where you are encountering all the stress at the moment.  Or just get in the car and go to the mall for an hour and walk around, keep moving - the break will do you good.

I completely get where you are at, been there myself.  Focus on the positives in your life as much as possible, it'll make life a lot easier to deal with.  Thankfully when I have a bad moment with the computer like you did, I just look at my husband and he'll fix it for me...because otherwise that printer would go out the window (I have a wee bit of temper with machines).

Hope you have a better day:)  Good Luck!

Thank you and you're right...I'm very thankful for the job and frustrated that it's not been smooth sailing...I was unemployed for 19 months.  This is the first place that gave me a chance.  So, I am starting to get my confidence somewhat back with the weight loss....so, I've got to put myself out there.   This company is a start up and there are ebs and flows that I worry about if we are going to make it long term....so, we shall see...my Dad always told me it's easier to find a job when you have a job and harder when you don't....so I just feel like i have to keep trying.  Plus, i need something with benefits...I'm petrified if I were to need to go to the doctor.  I have my one year coming up and I'm going to have to pay out of pocket.

Yeah, probably won't have any dinner but we did have a late lunch maybe a small snack and be done for the evening.  I'd like to lose another 5 pounds before month-end and I've got to get moving! :)

Thanks so much!!

Sorry your day was this way. I've had my share of days like that as well. Go get a walk in and maybe try submitting the info via online one more time and see if it all goes nice and smooth for you?  Good luck with everything. Will say a prayer for you!!!
