There are a few things I won't give up
I get the whole everything in moderation mentality, but I am not very good at that. Hence, why I got the surgery after all. I loved pizza, mcdonalds, and other fast foods prior to surgery. I also gave up my chocolate bars and diet cokes, because they are just not good for me period, too much sugar and other things I just don't need.
However, there is my one exception, my coffee addiction. I don't even splurge on this very often, but I allow it because it keeps me sane and my coworkers happy to work with me. I love, still, my small, non-fat caramel macchiatos. I know they are high in carbs and sugars - but it's my guilty pleasure. I do consume decaf coffees as well with my creamers. I have a macchiato maybe once every two weeks I have regular coffee with creamer maybe 3-4 cups a week.
Another thing I've allowed myself to have are tortilla chips and potato chips, but maybe 4-8 chips a sitting. This gets my crunchy, salty addiction under control.
At this point, I need to keep this all under wraps, because I do not want to slide back to my horrible pre-surgery diet. I see pictures of me before and I can literally see the water retention and sodium overload in every roll and puffy part of me. I never want to witness that again on myself. It keeps it real.
However, I understand your list, sometimes we just can't give it all up.
