It's official!
My surgeons office called while I was taking a nap ( go figure...) and I have my surgery date!!! April 29th and the pre op is April 23rd! Yes, I know it's a little far off compared to some of you- but i had to wait till I was on break from school!!!!! This really seems like a dream for me...This is something I've been fighting for for over two years... I can't believe I have a chance in actually having a healthy life... not always looking around to see if I'm the fattest in the room... no more fighting tooth and nail to avoid being in photos at all cost (hopefully.. lol).. When will this start to feel real??
Sorry if I've rambled! I go tomorrow morning to meet with one of the doctors with the surgons office to go over all my labs and tests they've ran and then that is my final clearance... everything else is is in bag! Insurances approval, tests, surgery date... Next up... the big day!!
