I am getting the run around by my insurance. I have seen every doctor they wanted me to see. I have done 6 months of weigh ins with my PCP. My 6th month weigh in was January 22. My doctor submitted fro authorization but they needed more of my clinical notes. So they sent everything in. Then it took 2 days to show that the insurance has it for review. I have called everyday since then. I called 2 times today because I have another appointment on Tuesday with my PCP. This is a "just in case appointment" which would make it a 7th weigh in appointment. I feel like they are doing this just to make me give up , but that will not happen. I just want to know what is going on and what the hold up is. well this is the end of my rant!!!

I had to do 7 appointments, and it had to be submitted twice, first time they needed more information. I think they needed additional weight history, but not 100% sure anymore. Then they sent it back in the next day and it took them 28 days to tell me if I was approved or denied. They have 30 days to review and respond. So give them some time, I called them about 4 days after it was submitted to make sure they didn't need anything else, then I called again at 25 days, which is when I got that it had been approved just had to wait for them to send the letter out to me and doctors.

They told me today that they have 14 from the date it was submitted to decide. BCBS told me today that they should have a decision by the middle of this week.
