Not Doing The Best With Liquid Diet
Okay, today was my first day on the liquid diet. This isn't a pre-op liquid diet you get right before surgery. This is just what my NUT and I talked about to lose 13lbs before my last appointment so I can submit insurance. I don't think I am doing very well though. I feel like I am eating/drinking way to much.
I'll post below what I am eating along with calories and please let me know what you all think and what some good ideas are for this. I really want to lose this weight before my last appointment!

What did your dietician recommend you eat? How come you're getting so little protein? You had a four oz protein shake with only three grams of protein? That's less protein than four oz of milk.

My protein powder is horrible... I bought some juice with extra added protein. Most of what I listed is what she was telling me to go for... minus the mashed potatoes and a few other things.
Well, I think you're going to feel hungry, tired and weak if you keep getting so little protein. If you don't like the protein powder you have, why not try some other brands?

Well I just spent 14 dollars on a smaller can, so at this time I don't really have the $ to spend on it...
Then you're gonna need to drink the stuff you bought. You can mix it with crystal light and ice cubes to flavor it, or mix it with decaf coffee (hot or with ice for a frappe-type of drink). You can mix it in pudding or other liquids, too.

Hi there. I see you are with Dr. Lalor. I am as well and am just wondering what insurance you had anf if you know if they require you to lose a certain amount in your required nut visits or what. I just did my 3rd of 6 nut visits yesterday of my required and the nut told me as long as I lose a few pounds and not gain, I am good. Just wondering about your insurance requirements and who you are with. I have paramount advantage.
I have Buckeye insurance. Yes, they are requiring me to lose 13lbs. I am getting ready to go to my last nut visit March 25th. And thank you, I am going to try to get in a lot more protein. I ended up getting a lousy 20 grams of protein today all together.
