Rant- So Mad!

I saw a gynecologist who had the same attitude. It might have been childish of me, but I went back to her office several years post-op just so she could see the VAST difference between the old and new weights on my chart. Don't get me wrong, I was smiling and very polite the whole time. Kill'em with kindness--haters can't stand it.

When is your surgery date? And was the cardiologist at Wood County Hospital? If so, what was his name so when I get a date and have to have a clearance I will be prepared for any comments he may have! Sorry to hear that he was a "hard to handle" doctor. My PCP is not fully on board, but is not going to stop me by not giving me a clearance. Matter of fact, I had to have that the day after the informational session back in December. Now, my chiropractor is a whole different story. He is very excited for me to do this surgery. He has been my chiropractor for over 20 years and he knows that if I would lose some of this weight, I would not have all the problems with my back that I have now. My PCP's main concern is that I am very aware that I must get blood work done on a very regular schedule. I already knew that after doing all my research. And, I asked Beth about the appointments to follow surgery and she said if anything ever bother me in the abdomen area, even nausea, to call Lalor's office first and speak to the nurse, even before calling my PCP. So, I feel that I made a good choice in Dr. Lalor doing this surgery.

Sorry you to put up with so much negativity from a cardiologist! He should be the first to be on board so your heart wouldn't have to work as hard!! Good luck!

No, this guy was in my hometown. I don't know what kind of school this guy went to but it was just a horrible experience. From what I've heard all of the doctor's that Dr. Lalor recommended  are all wonderful! I just didn't want to drive the 2 1/2-3 hr drive to go to them, but now thinking I should have!!! Good luck with your surgery!! Hope to see some great updates from you!

How far of a drive is Kenton to BG? When is your surgery? I can't wait to hear all about your experiences. I am getting excited about my RNY and I don't even have a date! Still got 3 visits left! Good luck! And yes, I will be updating from time to time, when I have my surgery. Have a great night!

Umm. A doctor that can't spell or talk to you with respect and you're going back? Oh heck no. I would take my weight loss surgery having behind to another doctor. Quick, fast and in a damn hurry!!! The only appointment that I would cancel would be with him...
